Forever Clear BBL

Forever Clear BBL™ is a safe, non-invasive treatment for many patients; however, it may not be suitable for everyone. During your consultation, we'll review your medical history and skin condition to determine whether this treatment is appropriate for you.

Forever Clear BBL™ may not be recommended if you:

• Have an abnormal sensitivity to sunlight or light-based treatments
• Are taking medications that increase photosensitivity
• Have used isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past 6 to 12 months
• Are pregnant or planning a pregnancy
• Have medical conditions that may impair wound healing
• Take anticoagulant medications or regularly use high doses of aspirin
• Have an active infection or a compromised immune system
• Have recently tanned skin or significant sun exposure
• Have a history of skin cancer, including malignant melanoma
• Are prone to developing keloid scars
• Have Fitzpatrick Skin Type VI

Both Forever Young BBL™ and Forever Clear BBL™ are advanced BroadBand Light treatments, but each is designed to address different skin concerns. Forever Young BBL™ focuses on skin rejuvenation by improving pigmentation, sun damage, redness, and visible signs of ageing. Forever Clear BBL™ is specifically designed to treat active acne by targeting acne-causing bacteria and reducing inflammation.

Because Forever Clear BBL™ works closer to the skin's surface where acne-causing bacteria reside, a series of treatments is typically recommended to achieve the best possible results.

The number of treatments depends on the severity of your acne and your individual skin goals. Most patients benefit from a series of 3 to 6 treatments, scheduled approximately 2 to 4 weeks apart. During your consultation, we'll recommend a personalised treatment plan tailored to your skin's needs. To help maintain long-term results, annual maintenance treatments are generally recommended.

Many patients notice an improvement in their skin within three weeks of treatment. As your skin continues to heal and respond to the treatment series, breakouts become less frequent, inflammation decreases, and your complexion appears progressively clearer and healthier.

Forever Clear BBL™ is a non-invasive treatment that is generally well tolerated and requires little to no downtime. Most patients describe the sensation as a series of quick, warm snaps against the skin. Numbing cream is not usually necessary; however, if you have particularly sensitive skin, we can discuss additional comfort options during your consultation to ensure a comfortable treatment experience.
