A Vampire Facial may not be suitable for everyone. We may recommend postponing or avoiding treatment if you:

• Have an active skin infection, rash, or inflammation in the treatment area.
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Have active facial cancer.
• Are currently receiving chemotherapy, immunosuppressive therapy, or long-term steroid therapy.
• Have blood disorders, platelet abnormalities, thrombocytopenia, or other clotting disorders.
• Are taking anticoagulant medications such as Warfarin.
• Have sepsis, chronic liver disease, hepatitis, or another serious acute or chronic infection.

Most Vampire Facial appointments take approximately 30–40 minutes, depending on the treatment area and your customized treatment plan.

The ideal number of treatments varies based on your skin condition, treatment goals, and desired results. As a standalone treatment, we typically recommend an initial series of three sessions scheduled 4–6 weeks apart. To maintain your results, an annual maintenance treatment is generally recommended.

Because PRP is derived from your own blood, the risk of an allergic reaction is extremely low. The treatment contains no animal-derived or synthetic ingredients, making it well tolerated by most patients.

Temporary side effects are common and may include:

• Mild swelling
• Redness
• Bruising
• Tenderness
• Itching

These effects usually resolve within a few days, although some patients may experience them for up to five days. If needed, Tylenol may be taken to relieve discomfort. Ice packs should be avoided, as inflammation is an important part of the body's natural healing response.

Most patients tolerate the procedure very well. You may experience mild discomfort during the injections, followed by temporary redness or bruising after treatment. To improve your comfort, a topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure begins.

Recovery varies depending on the area being treated.

Patients receiving treatment in the tear trough area—particularly those over the age of 45 with thinner or looser skin—may experience more noticeable swelling that can last 2–3 days. This is a normal part of the healing process.

For most other treatment areas, mild swelling or bruising generally resolves within 1–2 days, allowing you to return to your regular routine shortly after treatment.

You may notice an improvement once the initial swelling subsides. However, because PRP works by stimulating your body's natural collagen production, visible improvements continue to develop over time. Most patients see their full results within three months.

The longevity of your results depends on several factors, including the treatment area, the number of sessions completed, your age, and your skin's natural healing response.

Many patients enjoy their results for 1–4 years. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, following a good skincare routine, and scheduling recommended maintenance treatments can help prolong your outcome.

Following your Vampire Facial, proper aftercare will help support the healing process and optimize your results.

We recommend that you:

• Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated areas for the remainder of the day.
• If PRP has been placed beneath the eyes, allow the platelets to absorb naturally over the next several days.
• If PRP has been applied to the skin following a laser procedure, avoid washing your face until the following morning whenever possible.
• Resume your normal skincare routine, apply makeup, and return to your usual daily activities the day after treatment, unless otherwise advised by your provider.
