If the treated skin will be exposed to sunlight, apply broad-spectrum sun protection and follow the recommended treatment schedule for the most effective long-term hair reduction.

The number of treatments required varies depending on the treatment area, hair colour, skin type, and your individual hair growth cycle. Most patients achieve optimal results with a series of 4 to 6 treatments, although additional sessions may be recommended for certain areas.

Hair grows in three natural phases:

Although Laser Hair Removal is safe for most patients, it may not be suitable in certain situations. Treatment may be postponed or avoided if you:

• Have a pacemaker or implanted defibrillator
• Are using topical retinoids or retinol (these should generally be discontinued at least one week before treatment)
• Are currently taking or have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past six months
• Have a history of keloid scarring or excessive scar formation
• Have suspicious skin lesions that require medical evaluation
• Have recently taken photosensitizing antibiotics such as tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline, or erythromycin
• Have certain skin or autoimmune conditions, including vitiligo, psoriasis, scleroderma, collagen disorders, or a history of radiation therapy or skin cancer
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
